United Way California Capital Region (UWCCR) is responding to the Coronavirus COVID-19 health crisis in a variety of ways to ensure the health and safety of our staff and community programs. The Capital Region Community COVID-19 Response Fund was created to provide a coordinated response to our region’s immediate needs.This Fund was not created to be the only vehicle for directing resources into the community, but rather to help focus a regional response. The fund will be used to assist in the recovery from the pandemic's impact to our local area. Funds will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis, making it possible to move resources quickly and adapt to evolving needs in subsequent funding phases.Thank you to our partners who have come together to support our community through the COVID-19 Response Fund.We understand many individuals and families have been affected by the outbreak already and more will continue to be affected.
