We could see Sandy Point beach right across the bay and it was definitely way mroe crowded. You can find all four of us swimming in the water or playing in the sand on any given weekend!

The water was kinda murky, but lots of little rocks. The views of the Bay are great and the surroundings tranquil. It was a quick ride from the parking lot off Log Canoe Circle to the beach, along nicely maintained paths.

Thankfully having the bike, we ventured to a further point that was a bit less crowded than the first few entry points. A food concession, modern bathhouses, dressing rooms, volleyball courts, and a large picnic area are in and around the swimming area. The beach is very well maintained, with nice sand, plenty of trash bins and plenty of space for parking in the complex and on the street outside of it. They have parking and two porta potties near the parking lot.
