All day use pass holders have access to our restrooms. The bathrooms were filthy and poorly maintained, the worst being black mold growing all over the shower stalls, no toilet paper, just overall very poorly serviced!! Great little gem. trailer. The nearby harbor town of South Haven (5 miles away) is a great touristy destination if you want additional things to do, more public beach access, shopping, restaurants, community events, etc.
Beach was clean, we could have walked for many miles to the south. Some great swimming, hiking and camping along the shoreline. It's very safe and off the beaten path. Clean. Called Van Buren State Park and got a wonderful site for less money. The best thing about Covert really is the location being mere yards from a beautiful Lake Michigan beachfront.
