Near Rotary Park, there is also a sandy/rocky beach area filled with driftwood (my husky LOVES chewing on all the sticks and splashing in the water).Two stars for the beautiful lake view, would be a one just for the trails.

This is a beautiful stretch of continuous asphalt trail with the exception of a 1.7 km section on Bayly Street; this is a busy road with gravel shoulders - use extreme caution. Date of experience: June 2019.

Waterfront Trail via Duffins Creek is a 10.7 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Ajax, Ontario, Canada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. Every donation of $25 or more will receive a tax receipt. Dogs are also able to use this trail. Lots of convenient benches to rest on and far away from traffic noises. Just be careful I have found a few needles at the beach front in the sand!This was one of the best trail we ever did with my 6, 8 & 12 year old, we did total 17km in about 5 hours, the route was clean, moderate traffic, and view was amazing. It remains one of the most picturesque waterfronts in southern Ontario.As you explore this unique destination by foot or bike, be sure to visit these key points along the way.Located at the mouth of Duffins Creek, Rotary Park is a major focal point of the Waterfront Trail, with opportunities to play on the beach at the water’s edge and fish along the banks of Lake Ontario.
Views and set up makes it a good place to visit by yourself or with the family.At the very end of Rotary Park, you will find parking spots along the site. The views of the lake are almost continuous; something, unfortunately, lacking on the west side of Toronto.
