The service itself has worked perfectly. If you work from home, or have children expecting internet to do their homework or watch cartoons, do not deal with amateurs... avoid this company.

Sure, there are the occasional outrage, but overall I couldn't be happier with Starry. Starry is fast, it's reliable, the price is great, and the customer service is impeccable. The speeds are really incredible (I get ~150 megabits/sec download and ~200+ megabits/sec upload).
Our plan is 200 Mbps for $50 a month. After the pandemic started, I found myself working from home more than usual, and I found their internet to be very reliable despite the added strain. So far so good. It's the best wifi I've ever used!

The poor girl doing it was wearing a mask and face shield, so good on her. They told me I have 15 days to return the equipment or they would charge me for it. Also where else would you get an upload speed that matches the download one?? I missed two important meetings, and my child was upset for not being able to watch her favorite show.

* Read more reviews Jul 18th, 2020 Later that day I happened to run into a Starry tech person in my building and told him my situation. Set-up was incredibly easy, with customer service being top of line and extremely helpful.
Then I called, waited on hold a ton, and finally caught a customer service person who was extremely rude and almost mad at me for being dissatisfied with a long outage. I had never heard of Starry but figured it couldn't be as bad Spectrum, my previous provider.
The app is easy to use, and even when the internet cuts out (as they all do from time to time), they are quick to fix it and responsive to questions/issues. ""Excellent work I must say.
