But while playing San Andreas, did you ever realize that they've been trying to kill CJ and Sweet the entire time in the first part of the game?- During "Sweet & Kendl", the Ballas car only fires at Sweet and CJ, never at Smoke and Ryder- During "Drive-Thru", Smoke doesn't fire a single shot against the Ballas even though they're about to kill off his homies- During "House Party", Ryder quickly bails when the Ballas attack and never comes backBut the mission that's the most interesting by far is "Just Business". Big Smoke and Ryder were hiding their true nature all along. Smoke manages to ride neatly into the only place where the Russians have set up a roadblock of 3 cars and 5 gangsters, and not only does he ride into this neatly placed trap, he also spends exactly 12 seconds in a completely stationary position, not moving the bike at all while the 5 Russians shoot from both sides.There's also the the part right after Smoke jumps the exploding Packer. All 4 of em' were readying to betray their business partners (the protagonists) one day from the very beginning. Ryder robs/extorts businesses to gain money for he gang, he steals guns from the national guard and an army veteran, he helps CJ clean the streets of drug dealers by raiding the Ballas crack house. Smoke later includes the Carl then begins to work for Jizzy B, attempting to gather more information on the operation, and later gains his trust.
