All cats and dogs over the age of 12 weeks which reside in Whitby must have a Town of Whitby animal licence. Casper, this years best in show is a majestic laid back lurcher with stunning wise eyes, Tilly the boxer with a tail that never stops wagging and Bertie the cutest little wire haired terrier.We have two lovely 8 month olds looking for new homes - Bebe is a beautiful friendly cross terrier girl and Flint is a gorgeous friendly lurcher - he loves to play - please see the We Need A Home section.

Four Peaks Foundation dba Four Peaks Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization (under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, training and placement of all species of domestic animals in need of medical care and sanctuary. On August 1st we began conducting cat and kitten adoptions by appointment. The Whitby Animal Services Centre provides animal care and sheltering services for Whitby and Ajax.
Just recently we have welcomed 5 young staffies - Poppy who is around 2-3, Kacie who is 2, Wilson who is 3-4, Titch who is a liovely little chap and Mike who is a typical big lad staffie.Wilson and Titch have now found new homes but we have just had 6 more dogs arrive on Bank Holiday weekend including 2 more staffies- Colin who is a tint black and white staffie and Ray who is a big red staffie cross.
We are a community resource, dedicated to protecting and providing temporary shelter and comfort to all companion animals in need, while promoting adoptions and re-homing for unwanted, abused, neglected and abandoned pets. Residents may bring stray dogs to West Valley animal shelter only.
