At number 24 of the Place des Vosges hides one of the best – and most secret - speakeasies in Paris. No resrevation, come anytime you want ! The La Wanda was nice and fruity and the punch was strong and had a cinnamon aftertaste, it was very nice! Cocktails are more expensive here but huge and - for us - worth it.So we were recommended to visit this place by a very passionate french tourist guide we met the previous evng at a bar. The Moonshiner can be found in the back of Da Vito Pizzeria at 5 Rue Sedaine, near the Bréguet-Sabin ou Bastille Metro station. The speakeasy is actually in he pizza shop but behind what looks to be the refrigerator door. Inspired by the hidden clandestine bars of the Prohibition, this speakeasy-style bar was created by the team who brought you Kremlin, Clockwork Orange and Dirty Dick.Known for its detailed décor, friendly staff and whisky selection – Moonshiner is a not-to-be-missed spot for those with an appreciation of style, taste and mood. Lavomatic. We ordered one drink from the menu, and the other was a bartender creation. Moonshiner is a modern bar which gives a sophisticated nod to the 1920’s. Waiter were really cool and made great drinks. TheSouth Pigalle used to be known as one of the quieter areas in Paris but picked up a new wave The bartenders were incredible and very very nice to us for knowing little to no French! Compared with the other speakeasies I'd gone to in Paris, Moonshiner had slightly-cheaper cocktails.
The music was annoying, think 1920's music, but the bad kind.i came here by myself and had one cocktail from the menu (it was lovely) and paid for it, 14€.

Very cool atmosphere. It’s locatedTucked away in the upmarket 8th arrondissement, just around the corner from the famous Champs-Élysées, you’ll find Gentlemen 1919. It was quite a wait for the drinks but you could tell the bartenders took their time on the drink which I did appreciate so the wait is well worth it since the drinks were quite good. The front serves decent fresh pizzas. It was a really cool place to hangout with friends and wasn't too loud because it was so small with a great atmosphere. Moonshiner, Paris, France.
