But my boyfriend just kept on telling me how funny this movie was and was tormenting me on how I wouldn't give this film a chance, so finally I just decided to go ahead and see what it was about. Even though my adoration of the late comedian precludes me from giving a impartial rating of this movie, I can at least admit that this isn't one of his best efforts (I still loved this movie, it's just not my favourite Farley flick).
He died shortly after that so I guess his wish is fullfilled. Plus the edition of Robin Shou and Soon Tek-Oh were good too. All in all, if this movie is stupid, then it doesn't pretend to be anything else. Was this review helpful?

It won't win brownie points for being original, but still Chris Farley is absolutely hilarious as the bumbling, 'white' ninja that his antics had me in laughing in stitches.

Beverly Hills Ninja is a modern classic.

Of course, the plot is an excuse to have Farley trash everything surrounding him...and you'd better believe that he does! Chris Farley himself hated this movie and never wanted to make such a movie again. This movie is so much good natured fun despite how much one criticizes the overuse of "getting hit on the head" sequences. This film has such funny dialogue and any any aspiring actor should take care of how Farley performed his facial features and reactions, which are always priceless. It's a fun movie with plenty of laughs and it does have some really corny moments, but it's alright I'll forgive it since Chris Farley has such great physical comedy. It also has mostly guy humor. I myself happen to be a fifth degree black belt (godan) and on many occasions have felt as goofy and clumsy as Farley's character in this funny gem.
