But they have machines for smart trip cards to refill and put money on and they have a place for bus schedules near the customer service booth as well . This is a good access point for a large area.This metro station was right outside the door of my hotel, so it was an obvious choice for getting around the city. At the bottom we were quite bemused to find signs informing us all the Bethesda elevators were out of service. It forms a long, narrow "U", capped by its terminal stations at Shady Grove and Glenmont. The passengers whom I asked question as well - were great! Getting Around: Bethesda is easily accessible to downtown DC and Union Station via the red line metro, though you can expect the trip to take 20 (to Metro Center) to 25 minutes (to Union Station).Bikers and joggers can take the Capital Crescent Trail (CCT) all the way into Georgetown. Bethesda is a census designated place in southern Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, just northwest of Washington, D.C. I have got mine stolen from that metro.. Other than that everything is good.I just love the super long escalator here.
My weekly station for work & everyone from the Managers (R. Hernandez & B. Woodruff) to other employees are simply cool...especially in the midst of massive riders. For a family of five which already has a car, it may be cheaper for you to drive from Bethesda to DC and park, rather than taking the Metro and pay for ten one way metro ride..

But the parking areas there somewhat suck there since the place is such a metropolis there are hardly any parking areas all that much there as used to be . They are working on that 3rd escalator. As most of the metro stations are the same, it's hard to comment very much.

Well secured at anytime. There's water pipe leaks so you can expect to see some dripping almost 8 or 9 times out of 10, and pigeons are flying around all over the place. It's somewhat clean. It leads to a nice covered area and a lot of busses, including a free shuttle around Bethesda. They have a good bust station areas there as well . The long escalator ride is "doable. So come on down to the Bethesda metro Station ans get an experience that you will not forget . Still, I appreciated the many ticket stations available (especially because its so close to a hotel) and the station was generally clean.Let me start off that I am from NY and the subways up there are not known for being tidiest. We purchased our SmarTrip cards from a CVS store and then back at the hotel added additional value on each card (one card for each family member). It appears to be somewhat connected to some kind of labyrinthine above-ground complex, in which contemporary, bourgeois architecture advertises to passerby. I used to go to Barnes and noble there or other Restaurants that I liked there too.
